Hey BBU HUB! Meet Imani Lopez, a queer, non-binary full-spectrum doula based in Solano County, California, offering compassionate care across The Bay Area and beyond. Imani Lopez is deeply committed to addressing the inequities and harms faced by Black, queer, and trans birthing people within the medical system. Witnessing how the voices of these communities are often silenced, Imani has centered their practice on justice, equity, safety, and anti-oppression. They affirm the lived experiences of their clients, ensuring that everyone is empowered to advocate for the birthing experiences they deserve.
Trained through Birthing Advocacy Doula Training in 2023, Imani supports clients through all aspects of life transitions—whether it's birth, postpartum, or navigating significant changes.
